The Friends of the Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard (2GHG) will hold the second Your Horse — Our Trails Pleasure Ride on its grounds at 4 Trades Lane, Fairfield Hills, on Sunday, October 3.

The ride begins at 8 am and riders must be on the trail by noon. Anticipated length of the ride is an hour to an hour-and-a-half depending on pace.

Cost for the ride is $40. Saddle fitter The Refined Equestrian will be on site offering discounted saddle-fitting evaluation services. Normally $100, the cost on the pace day is $80.

All funds donated will help toward the feed, farrier, and hay for the 2GHG herd. Prizes will be offered for first, second, and third place.
