Mr Pomerantz is a well known garden photographer who became interested in photography when he was seven years old. Today he photographs for travel, regional and horticultural magazines, and for leading corporations and advertising agencies interested in beautiful imagery of gardens, farms, landscapes and people.
His clients include White Flower Farm, Holland America Cruise Lines, McDonaldâs, and Yankee Magazine. His stock images have appeared in National Geographic for Kids as well as on Frommerâs Travel Guide covers.
He published his first book, Wild Horses of the Dunes, featuring the beautiful wild horses of Assateague Island, in 2004. He has subsequently published Great Gardens of the Berkshires and Hudson River Valley Farms.
Richâs program will show gardeners how to take interesting photographs of their own gardens while explaining how he shoots various other gardens around the United States.
