Michael Anthony Tyll, 58, of Sandy Hook died September 25. He was the beloved husband of Lori (nee Cabaj).

Mr Tyll was a graduate of University of Michigan. He was a proud supporter of Connecticut youth hockey, Trinity Pauling School, Merrimack College, and Sacred Heart University.

His career began in 1980 with Stanley Black and Decker in Chesterfield, Mich., as a staff accountant, progressing to president of Stanley Engineered Fastening, and a member of the Stanley Black and Decker Executive Management Team.

His passions were his family, friends, supporting youth sports, his numerous hobbies, and his many business colleagues around the world.

Mr Tyll was the loving father of Melissa Paradiso, married to Christopher, and Kyle Tyll, married to Macey Melford. He was the proud grandfather of Lilliana, and loving son of Betty and Bernard Tyll.

Funeral services took place this past week, in Michigan. A memorial service will take place Monday, October 6, at  noon, at Heritage Hotel, 522 Heritage Road in Southbury, with a luncheon to follow. The family will receive guests at the hotel throughout the afternoon, until 7 pm.
