Douglas Hensal & Sarah Lynch

Announcement is made of the engagement between Sarah Marie Lynch of Sandy Hook and Douglas Roderick Hensal of Danbury.

Sarah is the daughter of Sally and Chris Lynch of Sandy Hook. She is a 1999 graduate of Newtown High School, and also a graduate of Keene State College in Keene, N.H., where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. She is a payroll/HRIS administrator for Newtown Savings Bank.

Douglas, the son of Betty and Tom Hensal of Brookfield, is a cash management officer for Newtown Savings Bank. He is a 1996 graduate of Brookfield High School, and a graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington, where he earned a bachelor of science in sports management with a minor in business.

A September 2010 wedding is being planned.
