I am a practicing psychiatrist for many years and a constituent of Rep Mitch Bolinsky's. I wanted to share how helpful Mitch has been regarding building awareness of mental health needs and solutions as our delegate in Hartford. As a member on the important legislative Appropriations Committee - one of just a few from this region - Mitch has repeatedly championed mental health reforms. He has promoted funding for the Community Care Team model and other innovative and cost effective reforms. I have witnessed his commitment and finesse first-hand during critical hearings, seeking insights and answers for this cause. His tireless efforts at the capitol and in our community are to be commended.
