Anna Luchansky

Anna Luchansky, 84, of New Britain, formerly of Jessup, Penn., and Sturges, Penn., and who spent many years in Connecticut, died September 25 at the Jerome Home in New Britain after an illness. Born June 19, 1922, in Czechoslovakia, she was the daughter of Andrew and Anna Havrilla Koscho. She was the widow of Andrew Luchansky, who died August 12, 1998. The couple was married for 57 years.

 Mrs Luchansky was educated in Jessup schools and was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville, Penn. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who enjoyed her family.

Surviving are three sons and their wives, Eugene and Jeanne of Sandy Hook, Martin and Christine of Mt Airy, Md., and Richard and Barbara of New Britain; a sister, Maryanne Churney of Jessup; two brothers, John Koscho of Sturges and Andrew Koscho of Bristol; five grandchildren, Sarah, Ann Marie, Andrea, Susan, and Adam; and three great-grandchildren, Megan, Thomas, and Owen.

The funeral Mass was held in Peckville, Penn., on September 30. Interment was in the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Jessup, Penn.
