A large crowd of candidates and residents gathered at Reverie Brewing Company on Church Hill Road, Monday evening, October 7, for The Newtown Bee Candidates’ Meet & Greet event.

Following a brief welcome and introduction by Editor Nancy K. Crevier and Associate Editor John Voket, all were invited to mingle and get to know each other. Putting candidate faces to names was regarded as a wonderful part of the evening, according to several residents who attended.

Pizzas were donated for the event by Newtown Pizza Palace, My Place Restaurant, Carminuccio’s Pizza, Red Rooster Pub, Franco’s Pizza, and Papa Al’s, and craft beer products offered by Reverie Brewing, added to the casual atmosphere of the evening.
