The Walk & Talk with First Selectman Rosenthal planned for today has been canceled, according to the Office of the First Selectman.

An email blast from the first selectman’s office early Thursday afternoon indicated the every-other-week event was being canceled this week.

The next walking program at Fairfield Hills with Dan Rosenthal is now scheduled for Friday, October 15. Residents are invited to meet outside the southern entrance of Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street, to participate. Reservations are not required.

The final Friday session of the season is still scheduled for October 22,

In addition, for those unable to participate in the midday events, Rosenthal has announced a Walk & Talk for Wednesday, October 20, at 5 pm.
