To the Editor:

I’m writing in support of Rebekah Harriman-Stites for State Representative, 106th District.

Since meeting Rebekah, I’ve been deeply impressed with her passion and drive to do what’s best for the students of Newtown and their families from her seat on the Board of Education. I’ve seen her lean in to conflict, not shy away from a healthy debate, and ultimately seek common ground. This is what I want in my representative.

Most importantly, though, she is an empathetic leader who invests the time to understand the perspectives of those she is serving. She has deep connections to Newtown, its residents, and its small businesses. I’m confident that she will carry those perspectives to Hartford and fight for the best interests of everyone she represents.
