Night Hike At Kellogg Center

DERBY — The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection’s Kellogg Environmental Center will offer “Starry Night,” a night hike for the fall season, on Saturday, November 13, at 7 pm.

Participants can learn what constellations and stars are visible at this time of the year, and how to get bearings at night. November 13 is also the time of the Leoind meteor shower, so some meteors may be visible.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. The program is free but registration is required.

To register, call 203/734-2513 Tuesday through Saturday between 9 am and 4:30 pm. The center is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue, Route 34 in Derby.
