Adult Programs

Add some mystery to your life… Spend the evening with mystery writers Marcia Talley and Kate Charles Monday, November 5, at 7:30 pm. These two authors will be on hand to speak on “Making Crime Pay” and to sign copies of their books, which will be available for purchase at the time of the signing. Marcia Talley is the author of Unbreathed Memories and the award-winning Sing It To Her Bones. Her third Hannah Ives mystery, Occasion of Revenge, was published in August 2001. She is also the editor of Naked Came the Phoenix, a collaborative work, with each chapter written by some of today’s most talented mystery novelists. Contributors include Nevada Barr, J.D. Robb, Lisa Scottoline, Faye Kellerman, J.A. Jance, and Mary Jane Clark. Kate Charles, who was described by Oxford Times as “a most English writer,” is in fact an expatriate American. She has a special interest in and expertise in clerical mysteries, and presents frequent lectures on crime novels with church backgrounds. Her books include Evil Angels Among Them, A Drink of Deadly Wine, Unruly Passions and her latest, Cruel Habitations. You won’t want to miss meeting these two delightful authors.
