Hawk Cross Country Teams Race Immaculate

Newtown High School’s cross country teams hosted Immaculate of Danbury on October 23. The boys won their race 19-38 and the girls fell 25-30 to the Mustangs.

Aidan Budge led all finishers across the line with a time of 18:12. Colby Harrell was third in 18:35, Saahil Ray, fourth in 18:57, Colden Bobowick, fifth in 19:04, and Andi Braholi placed sixth in 19:10.

In the girls’ race, Emily Tressler led Newtown with a second-place result in 20:52. Courtney Henchcliffe was fourth in 21:42, Emily Litke, fifth in 21:49, Gloria Rowley, ninth in 23:12, and Clara D’Amico placed tenth with a time of 23:34.
