Elizabeth Bruder Myers

Elizabeth B. Myers, 98, formerly of Ridgewood, N.J., and East Orleans, Mass., died October 28 at East Hill Woods, Southbury. Mrs Myers was born October 8, 1908, in New York City, a daughter of Charles Franklin and Edith Gardner Bruder. She was the wife of the late Lester C. Myers.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Cameron H. Eiseman of Newtown, Carolyn E. Eiseman-Hauser of Bethel, and Jeanne E. Tepper of West Bloomfield, Mich.; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Mary M. Eiseman and by three siblings, Charles F. Bruder, Jr, Edith G. Orr, and Ruth G. Ruether.

She graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1925 and Skidmore College in 1929. Mrs Myers was active in the Heights Guild, Woman’s Club, and Joe Jefferson Players, all of Ridgewood, N.J. Throughout her life she worshiped at the Episcopal Church.

A memorial service will be held at East Hill Woods, 611 East Hill Road in Southbury, at 4 pm on Friday, November 4.
