William J. Ottoshavett, Sr

WWII Veteran and Mason

William J. Ottoshavett, Sr, 90, husband of Elizabeth (Pace) Ottoshavett, formerly of Georges Hill Road, Newtown, died October 29 in the New Milford Hospital.

He was born in Newtown on September 8, 1915, son of John and Katherine (Donovan) Ottoshavett.

He attended Newtown Schools. A mason by occupation, he was last employed as a supervisor for Power Construction Company in Danbury. He was a member of the Masons Union in Danbury.

During World War II he served in the United States Air Corps. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Newtown.

Mr Ottoshavett is survived, besides his wife, by two sons, Anthony Ottoshavett of Newtown and William Ottoshavett, Jr, of New Milford; and one daughter, Dolores Teleski, of New Milford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose Church, Newtown, at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St Rose Cemetery, Newtown. Arrangements by the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
