Elizabeth S. Alberico

Beloved Wife, Sister,

And Mother

Elizabeth S. Alberico, 69, beloved wife of Cosmo Alberico and a seven-year resident of Walnut Tree Village, Sandy Hook, and previously of Eastchester, N.Y., and Brookfield for eight years, died October 30, in Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., July 3, 1942, a daughter of Mary (Costa) and Enrico Lore.

Mrs Alberico was a liver transplant recipient at Yale-New Haven Hospital, 16 years ago.

She was a member of the Walnut Tree Village Phase 2 Residents Association, and a communicant of St Rose of Lima Church.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Robert Alberico of Eastchester, N.Y., three daughters, Joann Nadeau of Brookfield, Cathy Smith, and her husband Todd, of Oro Valley, Ariz., and Michele DeLorenzo, and her husband Richard, or Eastchester, N.Y.; siblings Joseph, Sam, Jim, Daisy, Vinnie, Gloria, and Ann; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for celebration at St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, Friday, November 4, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St Rose Cemetery. Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, November 3, from 3 to 5 pm, and 7 to 9 pm, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
