The art of Ikebana flower arranging and design will be demonstrated at the next meeting of The Town & Country Garden Club of Newtown on Wednesday, November 13.

Pat McNellis, a master in the Ichiyo art of Ikebana, will demonstrate the assemblage of five unique arrangements that will be displayed in five separate containers. She now conducts workshops and demonstrations for many different types of organizations. Past venues have included the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Ikebana International World Convention in Tokyo, and the NYS Federated Garden Club Districts.

She also enjoys sharing her knowledge with many schools, continuing education classes, and garden clubs. Ms McNellis is currently president of West Haven Garden Club.
