Ronald Joseph Timm, 69, of Bethel died November 27 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of JoAnn (Christenson) Timm. He was born in Bronx, N.Y., March 27, 1945, and was the son of Rosa (Aigner) Timm of Bethel and the late Frederick C. Timm.

In addition to his wife and mother, his daughter Terra Edwards of Newtown; stepdaughter Laurie Makarczyk of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers Lawrence and Allen Timm, both of Maine; sister Therese Slesinsky of Bethel; as well as two grandchildren, Cole Edwards and Anthony Makarczyk III, survive Mr Timm.

He served in the Navy in the submarine service. A Bethel resident all his life, he was a 1963 graduate of Bethel High School and a parishioner of St Mary Church in Bethel.

Mr Timm worked for 35 years with Pepsi, as a sales representative. He loved the outdoors.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Mary Church, 26 Dodgingtown Road (Route 302), Bethel, Saturday, December 6, at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery, Bethel. The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, Friday evening, December 5, from 5 to 7 pm.
