Occupation: I’m the proud owner of Main Street Adventures here in Newtown. Main Street Adventures is an indoor playscape for children. I organize private plays, birthday parties, parents’ night out, and other small events. The facility is always clean for people to come play.

Family: I have a beautiful 2½-year-old daughter, Chloe. She is a ball full of energy and a joy to raise. She has been my inspiration and she has taught me so much. Also, I have a twin sister who lives in Maine, and my older sister, my mother, and my father live in Connecticut.

Pets: I have a dog named Scout. He is a white and black 12-year-old shih tzu. He loves to sleep and eat treats, a typical lap dog.

How long did you live in Newtown? I lived in Newtown since I was 5 years old, then went off the college and reside in Monroe now.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time I love to hike with my daughter. Fall is my favorite season and I love to see the leaves change color. We enjoy going for walks at Fairfield Hills, hikes at George Waldo in Southbury, and walks through the woods and around the pond at Wolfe Park — although Southford falls, Sleeping Giant, and Lovers Leap are my favorite hiking trails.

What is your favorite travel destination? This one is a tough one. I love to travel and enjoy all the places that I have attended. My favorite was when I studied abroad in Australia. The best part was when I got to hold a koala and pet a kangaroo.

What is the best part about Newtown? The best part of Newtown is the “homey” feel. From all the small businesses to Halloween on Main Street. The little things make it feel welcoming.

What organizations are you part of in Newtown? In Newtown, I am a part of the Chamber of Commerce. They have helped me with my business, organizing our ribbon cutting and just generally spreading the news about what we offer. Also, I have been involved with many charity events around town, including fundraising for Everwonder.

Who or what has been the greatest influence in your life? My greatest influences would have to be my family. My family is very supportive. My parents have taught me to be independent. With everything I do I know I’ll have many positive supporters.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? If I could spend time with one person that I have never met before it would be Betty White. She is hilarious and she lives life to the fullest. I bet I would be able to get some great life advice from her.

Who is your favorite musical artist? Right now, my favorite artist is Luke Combs. His song “Forever After All” is my favorite song right now. His voice is amazing, and his songs are fun to belt out to.

What is the greatest piece of advice you have ever been given? The greatest advice that I have ever been given is to do what makes you happy. Happiness is contagious and you never know who might need it. So always find time for the things that make you happy.

What is something you cannot live without? Besides certain people that I can’t live without, I can’t live without my hiking boots. Hiking always makes me happy, the sceneries are absolutely beautiful. And now I get to enjoy the views with Chloe.

What is your proudest accomplishment? My proudest accomplishment is having my daughter as a single mother and raising her, while opening up a successful business.
