From 10 am to 4:30 pm, many of the vendors who participated in the 2004 organic farmers’ market season will be setting up for a special one-day event at the church. There will be chowder, sandwiches, muffins, cakes and pies, all made with organic ingredients. Fresh coffee and soft drinks will also be available.

Many of the artisans and crafters who were part of the farmers’ market will also be participating in the café.

St John’s Episcopal Church is on Washington Avenue in Sandy Hook.

From 5 to 6 pm that evening, Sandy Hook will open its holiday season with karaoke Christmas caroling and the final appearance of Auntie Claus. The Sandy Hook holiday tree will be lit shortly after 6 pm.

All are welcome.
