The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will present its Spring Art Show & Sale Friday through Sunday, April 20-22, in the lower level of Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street (Route 25, at the flagpole).

Hours will be 10 am until 5 pm each day. The public is invited to an Artists' Reception on Friday, April 20, from 6 to 8 pm.

Members of SCAN will each be offering up to three original framed works in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, graphics, mixed media, and prints. Those who opt to will also be sharing portfolios with up to 17 additional unframed pieces.

Anyone interested in joining the association is invited to do so during receiving, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 19, from 3 to 6 pm. New members are always welcome.
