A Gathering With Heart

To the Editor:

We would like to thank Mary and Ronnie Pratt for spearheading the Michael “Grover” Glover memorial party held last Saturday, July 29. They, along with all of Grover’s friends, have been so helpful to our daughter, Kerry Knapp Glover, and our grandchild. They have been there for her.

Ronnie and Mary hosted this get-together for the benefit of Grover’s and Kerry’s child. The party was a huge success, and according to Kerry, a good time was had by all. Wish we could have been there. A lot of heart went into this gathering, and as a result, their child will be off to a good start. With friends like the Pratts, and the “bikers” from Danbury, Newtown, and vicinity, we feel that Kerry and the baby are in excellent company. Thanks to those merchants who donated goods to be raffled. That was a generous thing to do. Grover had a great many friends throughout the area, and he will be missed. Again, thank you all for being there for Kerry! You are all great!
