To the Editor:

To our fellow Newtowners, the Board of Directors of Congregation Adath Israel in Newtown would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the community for the outpouring of support when it was thought there was an anti-Semitic expression of hate here in Newtown. To each individual who expressed horror and sadness, to the other houses of worship that stepped forward in solidarity, we cannot express how meaningful this was to us. We feel grateful and blessed to be a part of such a loving community.
