A three-vehicle accident occurred about 9:14 am on Monday, September 24, at the driveway for Plaza South, a shopping center at --- South Main Street (Route 25) in Botsford. Police said motorist Earl Feistel, 63, of Newtown was driving a 2012 Nuissan Juke SUV northward on South Main Street, as motorist Teresa Immen, 63, of New Fairfiweld was driving a 2013 Mercedes Benz C-350 sedan southward there. The Nissan then attempted to make a left turn in front of the oncoming Mercedes, resulting the two autos colliding, police said. The impact of that crash resulted in the Nissan striking a 2012 Buick Lacrosse sedan driven by Robert Shaw, 90, of Newtown whcih was waiting to exit the shopping center's driveway, police said. Botsfird Fire Rescue Compnay responded to the accident. The Newtopwn Volunter Ambulance Corps trasnported Immen to Danbury Hospital for tretement of possible injuries, police said. Police determined that Feistel caused the accident and charged him with failure to grant the right of way, driving with a suepsnded license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and failure to have automotive insuarance. -- Bee Photo, Gorosko
