Trinity Sunday will be celebrated at the 10:30 am service on June 10. The featured choir anthem will be “Hymn to the Trinity.” The final session of the Sunday school and Bible classes will be held at 9 am. New members will be welcomed at the morning service and at the coffee hour in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Included on the calendar for the week is a meeting of the craft workers on Monday at 7:30 pm. On Thursday the Confirmation I group meets at 7 pm followed by adult Bible study at 8 pm. The final choir rehearsal for the season will be on Wednesday evening at 8 pm preceded by a chime choir rehearsal at 7:30 pm. On Sunday, June 17, the senior youth will sponsor a Father’s Day breakfast, starting at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall.

The children of the Sunday School will bring the story of creation to life Sunday morning when they stage the game of Pictionary for the congregation. The sixth, seventh, and eighth graders will run the game and each Sunday School class will present one verse of a song depicting the creation. Songs will include “He Made the Whole World with His Hands,” an adaptation of the well-known song, and “This Little Light of Mine.” They will all march into the Sanctuary singing “Jesus Loves Me.” The teachers will be recognized and gifts will be made by the Sunday School to the Rotary Club and the Congregation. Rich Collins, Sunday School superintendent, and David and Pat Reinhardt worked with the music. The Rev Janice Touloukian, associate minister, who works with the Sunday School, will be participating. The program completes the Sunday School year, so children will be worshiping with their parents until Sunday School reopens in September.
