The C.H. Booth Library invites students in grades fifth through eighth to enter the much-anticipated 2019 Battle of the Books competition, set to take place Saturday, April 13, at 11 am.

Battle of the Books is a yearly trivia contest that is based on four specific books. This year’s books are Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi, Loot: How To Steal a Fortune by Jude Watson, Ms Bixby’s Last Day by John David Anderson, and Seven Dead Pirates by Linda Bailey.

Teams consisting of three to four people can visit the library to sign-up now through Saturday, March 23, and pick up an informational packet at the library. Copies of the books are available.

Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes and have their name on a plaque in the Young Adult Department.

A practice round is scheduled for Friday, April 12, from 4 to 5 pm.
