Bridget R. Farrell, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late George “Bing” Farrell, died peacefully December 21, with family by her side. Born in Milford, the daughter of the late Modestino and Saveria Gelormino, she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 55 years.

Her three beloved children and their spouses, Kathy and David Kingsley of Newtown, Sharon Farrell of Fairfield, and Raymond and Susan Farrell of Washington, Maine; five loving grandchildren, Kevin Farrell and his wife, Janna, Kaitlin Farrell and her husband, Jacob, Meghan Mitchell and her husband, Gregory, Emma Kingsley, and Caroline Kingsley; four cherished great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Frisbie of New Haven; and several nieces and nephews survive her.

Five brothers and two sisters predeceased her.

Mrs Farrell was a retired employee for the State of Connecticut. She enjoyed music and reading, and she always looked forward to weekend trips with her husband, traveling to her favorite spots in New England.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her for her kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit.

Funeral services will be private.
