Business background: We acquired the space in December 2018 and officially opened January 1, 2019. Newtown is a wonderful community and is easily accessible from the surrounding towns. When we discovered this space was available, we thought it [was] the perfect opportunity to offer local residents a service that a lot of people really need. Who couldn’t use another closet, attic, or basement area to keep their belongings that just don’t fit in their home?

One in ten Americans rents a self-storage space, so there is definitely a need for this business. Most of the facilities in the surrounding area are at or near full capacity. For this reason, we will attract people from the surrounding towns, which will help drive traffic to other businesses in the area.

Our location on South Main Street is the perfect spot with a lot of exposure to the drive-by traffic.

Business focus: Stor It For Less is a climate-controlled self-storage facility. All of our units are indoors in a safe and secure location. We offer units from five-by-five to 10-by-26. Our facility has 24-hour access to our clients for their convenience. If you just don’t have the space for your out-of-season clothing, luggage, collectibles, or any treasured possessions, our climate-controlled storage is the perfect place. We offer short-term and long-term options for people who are between houses or downsizing.

Hours: Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm; Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm; and by appointment on Tuesday and Sunday.
