Canine Advocates Slate Fifth Annual Tag Sale

Canine Advocates of Newtown have scheduled their Fifth Annual Tag Sale for Sunday, May 15, from 9 am to 4 pm, in the parking lot at the Medical Offices of Dr Donald Evans at 115 Mt Pleasant Road, across from Hot Shots Restaurant.

All proceeds will help pay for rabies and distemper shots and spaying/neutering for the dogs at the Newtown Dog Pound. Good quality donations for the tag sale are welcome and can be dropped off at the same address on Wednesday, May 4, between 4 and 7 pm; Saturday, May 7, between 11 am and 2 pm; Wednesday, May 11, between 4 and 7 pm, and Saturday, May 14, between 2 and 5 pm. No clothing please. Large furniture should be donated only if you can pick it up if it does not sell.

There is no admission charge for the tag sale, and there will be a variety of good quality items at great prices, including kitchen items, jewelry, plants, pots, vases, lamps, small appliances, small furniture, toys, games, books, speakers, garden needs, tools, and electronics.

This year the sale will also have some dog and cat jewelry, crafts, and baked goods. If there are any questions call Jeanne at 426-6540 or Virginia at 426-5327. If you can not drop off your items, please call Phil at 426-3914 and he will arrange to pick them up. The rain date will be Sunday, May 22.
