Collectors Circle

Experience the best Charleston International Antiques Show (CIAS) has to offer as a member of the show’s exclusive Collectors Circle. You’ll be the first to see the booths and meet the CIAS dealers at the preview party, Thursday, March 15, at 6 pm, an hour before the preview party opens to the public.

In addition, Collectors Circle patrons also receive unlimited daily admission to the show; invitations to exclusive private parties throughout the weekend; access to the Collectors Circle Withdrawing Room; and reserved show parking.

Members of the Collectors Circle qualify for a special room rate at Charleston Place Hotel, an Orient Express property. Call Group Reservations at 800-831-3490 or email groupres@charlestonplace.com and mention the CIAS Collectors Circle group. Reservation agents will have information on the special rate. The cost is $600 (a portion of which is tax deductible) to become a member of the Collectors Circle.

Preview Party

This spectacular event will kick off opening night on Thursday, March 15, from 7 to 9 pm, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres set amid the magnificent booths and enchanting backdrop of Charleston’s High Battery. The preview party ticket of $200 includes a three-day show pass and catalog.

Young Collectors Soiree

On Friday, March 16, from 6 to 8 pm, experience contemporary living with antiques as our renowned dealers educate guests about beautiful objects with history. A one-day show pass is included in purchase price of $60 for the Young Collectors Soiree.

In the Company of Experts Tour

Learn more about the world of antiques by joining us for an educational and entertaining tour of the show led by antiques and decorative arts experts. You’ll have a chance to meet the dealers one-on-one before the show opens for the day and learn more about the art of collecting. Tickets are $25 and include a catalog and a one-day admission pass for the show on Friday, March 16, at 9 am and Saturday, March 17, at 9 am.

Luncheon Lectures

Whet your appetite with a delectable fare of scholarly insight, guidance and inspiration from foremost decorative arts experts. Seating is limited, so early reservations are required. Luncheons take place at the Carolina Yacht Club, 40 East Bay Street, $60 per luncheon, on Friday, March 16, at 11:30 am. John Loring, Design Director of Tiffany & Co., will speak on the topic of his latest book, The Luster,Loreand Luxury of Tiffany Pearls. On Saturday, Charlestonian Lee Manigault will speak on The Miles Brewton House and Its Collections, highlighting one of the nation’s finest examples of residential Georgian architecture.
