Computer Classes For The Blind, Visually Impaired

WATERBURY — Computer classes for the blind and visually impaired will be held at the Silas Bronson Library, 267 Grand Street, October 1, 8, 15, and 29.

Lessons will be taught on state-of-the-art software programs especially designed for citizens with low vision capacities. Adriana Carpio of Vision Dynamics, a Cheshire-based business specializing in products for the visually impaired, will teach classes.

Classes are open to all ages, from school children to senior citizens. Later rounds of classes will be offered in February, May, and August of 2004. Waterbury residents will be given first preference. Thereafter, anyone can register.
