Daniel Bunger has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College for the 2008 fall semester. A student must achieve a grade point average of 90 or more during the term to be placed on the Dean’s List.

Carolyn A. Gingras of Sandy Hook was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2008 semester at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Carolyn is pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree at the college.

Katherine Datin made the Honor’s List for fall 2008 semester at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Penn.

Meghan E. Barbour, Megan D. LaFlamme, and Lisa M. Morgan of Newtown and Timothy J. McMullan, Daniel R. Rahmlow, and Joseph C. Rahtelli of Sandy Hook were named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2008 semester at Marist College, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Alexander Rote of Sandy Hook was named on the Dean’s List for the fall 2008 term at Curry College, in Milton, Mass. To qualify for the Dean’s List at the college students must earn a grade point average of 3.3, have no incompletes and have no grade lower than a “C” for the semester.

Candice Woods of Sandy Hook, and a 2008 Newtown High School graduate, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2008 semester at Seton Hall University, in South Orange, N.J. To be named to the Dean’s List at the university a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Brendan T. Deveney was named to the honor roll at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., for the fall term. To be named to the honor roll students must maintain at least a 5 point grade average out of a 6 point scale.

Danielle L. Licursi was named to the Dean’s List for the 2008 fall semester at SUNY Orange in Middletown, N.Y. The Dean’s List at the school comprises full-time students not on academic probation who achieved at least a 3.0 quality point average over the course of the semester.

Olga Virgalla, a 2007 Newtown High School graduate, has been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Vermont, in Burlington, where she is a sophomore majoring in Russian studies, for the fall 2008 semester.

 Marina Virgalla has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2008 semester at Southern Connecticut State University, where she is a freshman.
