TIAS Top 20

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Internet Antique Shop (TIAS) has released its top 20

list for July, the result of searches for antiques and collectibles conducted

by over 280,000 visitors to the firm's Web site in May.

The top 20 collectibles are, in descending order: Roseville, cookie jars,

Hull, McCoy, carnival glass, lamps, dolls, Fenton, coins, Royal Doulton,

Depression glass, clocks, china, Beanie Babies, Fire King, Noritake, Star

Wars, Hummel, Avon and Limoges.

In industry notes the firm mentions that Krause Publications bought Landmark

Specialty Publications. The Antique Trader and many other antique and

collectible publications are now owned by Krause. Both companies have a

significant Web presence on the Internet.

In addition, the Kovels have added another 50,000 items to their free on-line

guide, bringing the total to over 200,000 prices for antiques and

collectibles. This is the largest price guide of antiques and collectibles on
