David C. Harlow, 75, of Sandy Hook died November 28 at Griffin Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary Beardsley Harlow. He was born in New Haven on March 29, 1942, son of the late Thomas and Dorothy Constantine Harlow.

Mr Harlow was employed as an aerospace engineer at the Loral Corporation, presently Lockheed Martin, for many years and retired from Petra Construction in North Haven.

He was a member of the Cedarhurst Association in Sandy Hook and enjoyed building things, the outdoors, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Mary, a son, David R. Harlow of Cheshire; daughters, Kristin Harlow and Mandy DeMezzo and husband Robert of North Haven; a brother, Richard Harlow of California; cherished grandchildren, Lauren Gingras, Ashley Gingras, Grace Harlow, Michael DeMezzo, and Matteo DeMezzo; as well as several nieces and nephews, survive him.

His brother, Thomas Harlow, predeceased him.

A private funeral service and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

The Spinelli-Ricciuti/Bednar-Osiecki Funeral Home, Ansonia, is in charge of arrangements.
