Donald Brian Eaton, 61, of Ansonia, formerly of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly March 13, at Griffin Hospital. He was born in Danbury, on November 1, 1956, and was the son of the late Helen and Dwight Eaton.

He graduated from Henry Abbott Tech School in Danbury and served in the Army for four years. He was a land surveyor for many years and recently was employed at Home Depot in Derby.

His daughter, Ashley of Derby; two sisters, Rosemarie Moseley of Newtown and Donna Eaton of Ansonia; three brothers, Wayne and David, both of Salem, Maine, and Dale of Danbury; and many nieces and nephews survive him.

Mr Eaton's loved ones say he will be missed by many and that he was a quiet guy but had a heart of gold who would help anyone in need. He will be sorely missed by his sister Donna, who he resided with, who says he was her designated driver to many doctors visits and outings shopping.

He was cremated by Abbey Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc, of Rocky Hill.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 28, at 11 am, at the Second Congregational Church, 136 Elizabeth Street, Derby.
