UPDATE:  Danbury police report "Joshua has been located and is now safe. We greatly appreciate the efforts and support from the community."

The Newtown Police Department has shared a City of Danbury Police Department alert for an endangered youth on its Facebook page.

“Please help us locate Joshua McLean (13 yr old). Joshua is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall weighing 160 pounds. He has blue eyes and blonde hair. Joshua was last seen wearing a red American Eagle sweat shirt and gray or navy blue sweat pants.

Joshua was last observed in the area of West Street in Danbury on 1-7-19 at 4:30 pm.

Currently there is an active Silver Alert for Joshua.”
