To the Editor:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank numerous people who were instrumental in helping us secure the former Stratford Hall at Fairfield Hills as the site for our new brewery. In no particular order, we would like to extend many thanks to: Ross Carli, head of Fairfield Hills Authority; Christal Preszler (the hub of the wheel); Kim Chiappetta; Wes Thompson and Owen Cramer from Newtown Economic Development; George Benson from Planning and Zoning; Fred Hurley from Newtown Public Works; all the folks in the town offices, such as the Building Department, Health Department, Fire Marshal, and last but not least, First Selectman Dan Rosenthal.

We truly appreciate their support, encouragement, and enthusiasm throughout the process. As the first commercial enterprise at Fairfield Hills, we are excited to begin renovation of the building and look forward to opening in the summer of 2019.
