And Toddlers

SOUTHBURY — Registration is now being accepted for early childhood programs sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut, 444 Main Street North.

Babies & Bagels, an established playgroup for babies and their caregivers, is open to all babies, from newborns to age 2, along with a parent or caregiver. The group offers a fun opportunity for babies and caregivers to socialize and meet new friends. There are age-appropriate toys in the meeting room. Caregivers are asked to bring their own baby snacks.

The group will meet on Thursdays, from 9:30 to 11 am, beginning September 20. The fall session runs through December 6. The program fee is $30.

Spaces are also available in the fall session of Mom & Tot, an introductory preschool experience for 2-year-olds and their parents/caregivers in a small group setting. Each class explores a new theme and includes crafts, cooking, music, movement, stories, and snack. This class will meet on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am, beginning in October.

Registration is limited and registration is required. The William and Audrey Walzer Alef Bet Preschool also offers early childhood programs for 3- to 5-year-olds.
