The February 13 meeting of Newtown Genealogy Club will be at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

This month, the group and its guests will be taking a small field trip. From the meeting room, where the group usually meets, guests will instead gather at 7 pm on the library’s third floor, where the Genealogy Room has been relocated.

Some of the club’s books and periodicals have been shelved in slightly different areas, and there have been a few additional changes. Longtime Genealogy Club member Bea Morgan will lead a tour of the room, and highlight the many materials available for use. Members will be provided with a handout of the room content, including materials available both in print and on the club’s dedicated computer.

Ms Morgan is also available on Monday afternoons, from 2 to 4:30 pm, for assistance with beginning or continuing research.
