Fern E. Lescrynski, 87, of Newtown, died April 15, at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Livermore Falls, Maine, March 15, 1926, a daughter of Camilla and Berlin Thompson. She was the wife of the late Steve Lescrynski.

Mrs Lescrynski grew up in New Milford and was a resident of Newtown for most of her adult life.

Until her retirement, Mrs Lescrynski was employed by the Berol Corporation in Danbury and the Nordex Corporation of Brookfield.

Two daughters, Linda A. Peck, and her husband Art, of Newtown, and Anita L. Canfield, and her husband Ken, of Southbury; three sons, Stephen Lescrynski of Southbury, Richard Lescrynski, and his wife Joan, of Stratford, and Alan Lescrynski, and his wife Isabella, of Indiana; a sister, Marie Jajer of Florida; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren survive Mrs Lescrynski. A graveside service will take place at 11 am, Friday, April 26, in Center Cemetery, New Milford.
