Gale M. “Nancy Gale” Scott, 68, of Cambridge, Maine, died May 22, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 4, 1943, in Newtown, the daughter of Eva and Raymond Miller.

She leaves behind her husband of 49 years, George A. Scott; daughters, Sandra, and her husband Dave, of Dexter, Maine, and Kathy of Cambridge; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, and Christine; adopted grandchildren, Geneva and Joshua; two sisters, Janet, and her husband Rickey, of Cambridge, and Darlene, and her husband Gene, of Dexter; two brothers, Raymond, and his wife Karen, and Arnold, and his wife Sherrie, all of Dexter; several nieces and nephews; and special four-legged pal, Foster. Her parents; and a sister, Sandra, predeceased Ms Scott.

Ms Scott loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved going camping and canning during the summers, going to bluegrass festivals, and taking long day rides to wherever. She also enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys in the backyard.
