Gladys (Walsh) Federowicz, 93, of Huntington, died May 17, at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center. She was born in Bridgeport to the late Anna and John Walsh.

Three brothers, Harry H. Walsh of Sandy Hook, John L. Walsh of Danby, Vt., and Thomas R. Walsh of Huntington; three sisters, Dorothy Pellitier of Newtown, Ann Bove of Bridgeport, and Sally Schiffer of Huntington; and many nieces and nephews survive Mrs Federowicz. Her husband Benjamin Federowicz; her brother Edward F. Walsh; and sisters Alice Kepchar and Marion Kotenski predeceased her.

She received her associate’s degree in accounting from the University of Bridgeport and was a manager in the salary section for Remington Arms.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Bishop Wicke for their compassion and care.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services, Wednesday, May 22, at 10:45 am, at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:30 am, at St Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Huntington. Interment will be in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning, from 9 am until the time of service.
