Gordon Kimo Scott, 55, of New Haven, died May 16, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport, August 2, 1957, a son of Alma (Akeo) and Charles  Scott of New London.

Mr Scott grew up in Newtown and was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1975.

He was employed as a welder for Local #777 of the Pipefitters Union.

He enjoyed many different things in life, including sports and boating. He had a love for cooking. Gordon touched the hearts of many people in his time here. He will be very much missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his father, survivors include two sisters, Laurie-Ann Scott of Sandy Hook and Carol Kamai, and her husband Jonnie, of Honolulu, Hawaii; a brother, Robert Scott of Honolulu; as well as two nephews and three nieces. He was predeceased by his mother.

Mr Scott was cremated and his ashes will join his mother’s, in Hawaii. There are no calling hours.
