Newtown High School's gymnastics team visited Jonathan Law in Milford on January 22 and, with 129.6 points, placed second behind Oxford (132.7) and beat Law (123.1).

Emma Delia won the floor event with a score of 9.0, tied for third on bars (8.2), and placed third in the all around (33.6).

Hannah Jojo tied for first on bars with an 8.7, was second on the balance beam with an 8.6, and was second in the all around with a score of 33.9.

Ally Kenny was second on the vault with an 8.4, and came in third on the floor (8.5).
