To the Editor:

This past weekend, Friends of the C.H. Booth Library sponsored our 14th annual Holiday Sale to benefit the town library. Thanks to the many people who came from near and far to find gifts for their friends and family, this was our most successful sale ever.

Another contributing factor to the sale's success was the generosity of local businesses that donated brand-new gift items: Avance European Skin Care and Day Spa, Basil Rose Boutique, Big Y, Butcher's Best, Hollandia, Klickers Hair Studio, Nails & Beyond, Newtown Hardware, The Gift Box, The Toy Tree, UK Gourmet, and Your Healthy Pet all showed wonderful holiday spirit! Also, we extend many thanks to everyone who donated quality books, CDs, DVDs, etc that were offered at the sale. We are grateful to the C.H. Booth Library for providing us with the perfect venue for the sale. Also, congratulations to all our wonderful volunteers, whose efforts ensured a successful sale.

If you couldn't find the time last weekend or are wondering what to get a special person on your gift list, come visit the Little Book Store on the second floor of the C.H. Booth Library. We still have many gift-quality books and boutique items that may just fit the bill, but supplies are limited.
