DANBURY — The Immaculate High School Fine Arts Department will present In the Heights, a Tony Award winning musical, April 25-27. Curtain is Thursday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm, with a matinee performance on Saturday, April 27, at 2 pm.

The musical is set in the Latin-American neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City. Musical numbers feature freestyle raps, ballads, and salsa numbers. A number of Newtown students are reportedly part of the production.

Past Immaculate High School productions have included The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Aida, and Miss Saigon.
