Reed Intermediate School fifth graders were invited to visit the school on August 8 and 15 to practice opening lockers.

For students in Newtown Public Schools, fifth grade is the first chance to use lockers. Reed Principal Anne Uberti and Assistant Principal Jill Bontatibus-Beaudry welcomed or spoke to them as they practiced opening lockers on August 15.

“Today is just to practice,” Ms Bontatibus-Beaudry reminded the students, who will be assigned lockers at the start of the 2018-19 school year.
