The executive management team of Urgent Care of Connecticut announced the opening of a new facility in Newtown, its sixth location and the company’s fourth in the greater Danbury area. Located in Plaza South at 226 South Main Street, is scheduled to open its doors in July.

“Based on the health care needs of the residents of greater Danbury, specifically in Newtown, we have chosen to open a new clinic,” said R. Robert Rohatch, MD, FACEP, chief executive officer and a founding member of Zucyla Enterprises, the parent company of Urgent Care of Connecticut. “Sandy Hook residents currently take advantage of our Southbury clinic, which is less than a ten-minute drive, but we wanted to make it more convenient for the rest of Newtown.”
