The Newtown High School Chorus group is teaming up with Ingersoll Auto of Danbury to raise funds for uniforms, scholarships, and other items that help support the award-winning NHS music program through a Buick Drive For Your Students fundraiser on October 21, from 9 am to 3 pm, at Newtown High School, 12 Berkshire Road

For every test drive, $10 will be donated to the program. If more than 100 test drives take place during the event, $20 per drive will be donated. There is no requirement of purchasing a vehicle or being contacted by the dealership unless the test driver asks to be contacted. All drivers must be 21 or older and must have a valid driver's license, with a limit of two drivers per household. The NHS Chorus is hoping for 500 test drives at the event to raise up to $10,000.

Food trucks will also be at the school for the event.
