Jamie Monsanto, 54, of Southbury, formerly of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly December 13. He was born July 30, 1963, and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr Monsanto's gentle, caring ways and quick wit endeared him to all.

His loved ones say that "The heavens must have needed him to keep the celestial bodies in alignment the same way that he did for so many people's teeth through his profession. We're sure he can handle the task, easily!"

His parents, Arlton and Stephanie Monsanto; his sister, Heather; his companion in life, Olivia Channon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins survive him.

A memorial service will be conducted at the United Methodist Church, 92 Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook, on Wednesday, December 20, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mr Monsanto's name to The Kennedy Center, Project  ACT & Project Unite, attn: Development Department, 2440 Reservoir Avenue,Trumbull CT 06611 or by visiting thekennedycenterinc.org.
