Jean Anne Taylor, 75, of New Milford, died April 21, in Candlewood Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Edward Roger Taylor. She was born July 25, 1937, in Norwalk, a daughter of Maude A. (Millspaugh) and Samuel F. Comstock.

A sister, Maude Amanda Verbanic of Newtown; a brother, Samuel F. Comstock of Vermont and Connecticut; four daughters, Jo-Ann Taylor Pesente, Judy Taylor Grossenbacher, Michele Lee Taylor, and Jean Wilson; as well as five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive Mrs Taylor. A sister, Louise Adele Brown, predeceased her.

She was a childcare provider for ten years and had been employed by Stew Leonard's in Danbury for 15 years. She made great friends with customers, who all loved her. Mrs Taylor enjoyed gardening, birdwatching; walks on the beach, and cruising in the Caribbean. Her most cherished moments were spent with her grandchildren and other family members.

A funeral service will take place Thursday, April 25, at noon, at the Colonial Funeral Home, 87 Park Lane Road, New Milford. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, New Milford. The family will receive at the Colonial Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 24, from 5 until 9 pm.
